Visiting Hour & Bedside Manners
By Richard Harris/Dorrie Partington
Visiting Hour consists of two short plays by Richard Harris, 'Plaster' directed by Tony McDonagh and 'Show Business' directed by Helen Lockett then after the interval a play written by the Players' own Dorrie Partington and Directed by her on this its stage debut 'Bedside Manners'. All three plays used an authentic NHS ward set and left the audience howling with the antics of the players. The pre-show and interval featured a 'hospital radio' recording of relevant music and the DJ prowess of 'Tony HelenDorrie', the cheesy host.
