The Youth Theatre year will be divided into three ten week terms.
The workshops themselves will run every Tuesday evening from7.00pm till 9.00pm in the theatre.
The first term of ten sessions will will lead up to a 'performance' or 'showcase' of what has been achieved,possibly in early December.
The workshops will be devised and run by Paul Patrick assisted by Claire Watts and Keegan Curran.

The aim is to give experience of all aspects of live theatre to young people aged between 14 and 30.
Workshops lasting two hours are to be held regularly each week in the theatre.
There will be ten sessions per term and three terms per year.The cost will be £20 per term (£2 per session).Numbers limited to 25 per session.
Please note every member of the Youth Theatre Workshop must also be members of The Rossendale Players in order to be covered by insurance.
Membership is £5 ( under 18) and £10 (over 18).This is payable to the membership Secretary in September.

Paul Patrick in "It Runs in the Family 2006"

Paul Patrick graduated as a drama teacher in 1972 and since then has taught drama and theatre studies up to and including degree level, most recently at Accrington & Rossendale College
and Bacup & Rawtenstall Grammar School.
He has trained theatre practitioners for several years and been responsible for more productions than he can count.
Most recently he has directed “Much Ado About Nothing” for the Rossendale Players, acted in their Xmas farce and provided training to the staff and young people of Peer Productions, a young people’s theatre project in Surrey.
He is passionate about theatre and has worked at and taught all of the many disciplines that theatre might require.
